Hi, I’m Guus Noij a Front-end developer living in Nijmegen - The Netherlands.
I currently work as a lead front-end developer at Perplex Digital Bv. in Arnhem.

I was born in The Netherlands on August 1996. Doing things on the computer and having grown up in sync with the maturing of the internet, the computer and being online has always been second nature to me. Realising all the cool stuff that magically happened on my computer was build by people and I could take a part in realising all of this, it was obvious I wanted to take part in this. That’s how I ended up studying Communications and Multimedia design and graduating in Visual Design with an UX design based graduation assignment and starting my career as an UX-designer in a major (web)software company; Planon Software Bv.
From there on I figured out how especially a good front-end and a (separated) backend could make a huge difference in creating beautiful experiences. That’s why I continued my career in front-end development. I fell in love with the new frameworks and how they integrated the state of the UI in the code itself. Seeing the fast paced innovation in front-end technologies keeps me motivated every day.
Apart from my virtual life, I like my two cats 😺, walking in nature, having a garden and playing around with Bonsai 🌳. Also I love spending time with my family and hanging out with my friends.
